Prabowo Subianto, President-elect for the term 2024-2029, recently attended the Technical Training and National Coordination Meeting of the Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN). During the event, held at JW Luwansa, South Jakarta, all elected candidates and regional head candidates gathered to consolidate and synergize political forces for the upcoming local elections.
In his speech, Prabowo expressed his gratitude towards President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), acknowledging him as a sincere leader. Despite being rivals in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections, Prabowo appreciated how Jokowi did not hesitate to assist him. He mentioned that Jokowi instructed his ministers to provide essential data to support Prabowo’s future government responsibilities.
Prabowo also shared how Jokowi encouraged him to introduce himself to world leaders, emphasizing the importance of attracting investments from other countries to support economic growth. Prabowo highlighted the need for investments to stimulate growth, which in turn would lead to the establishment of factories and the creation of job opportunities for the Indonesian people.
