Prabowo Subianto, the President-elect of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term, recently underwent a successful surgery on his leg and took to his personal Instagram account @prabowo to express his gratitude and pride towards the Indonesian medical team responsible for the procedure. He thanked the medical team led by Brigadier General (Ret.) Dr. Robert Hutauruk, Colonel Dr. Sunaryo, Dr. Siska Widayati, and Dr. Thomas, as well as all the nurses and medical personnel at the RSPPN Sudirman for their successful efforts.
The surgery, which took place at a hospital inaugurated in February by President Joko Widodo and Prabowo, was necessary to address a long-standing injury sustained by Prabowo during two parachuting accidents in the 1980s while serving in the Indonesian National Armed Forces. Despite the risks and life-threatening nature of the procedure, Prabowo emphasized the importance of the surgery for his health and his ability to serve the country and its people.
After successfully undergoing the surgery a week ago, Prabowo expressed his readiness to resume his activities and reiterated his commitment to serving and dedicating himself to Indonesia. He thanked everyone for their prayers and support during this time.
