Prabowo Subianto tells TNI-Polri Cadets: Being in this Profession is Honorable and Noble, but Demands Sacrifice

Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the Defense Minister, gave guidance to cadet officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri) at Balai Sudirman, South Jakarta, on Friday. In front of 906 cadets, including 417 from the Army, 129 from the Navy, 113 from the Air Force, and 247 from the Police, Prabowo emphasized that serving as a TNI or Polri officer is a noble calling that requires great sacrifices and willingness from both body and spirit. He urged the cadets to always defend Indonesia, as the fate of the nation and its people rests on their shoulders. Prabowo reminded the cadets about the national goals outlined in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, emphasizing the importance of protecting the entire Indonesian nation before advancing welfare and implementing education. He stressed the significance of maintaining the country’s integrity and safety before pursuing development projects like skyscrapers, airports, railways, and dams.
