Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia’s Minister of Defense and upcoming President for the 2024-2029 term, recently met with President Joko Widodo to discuss the outcomes of his week-long working visit to Europe. Dressed in a brown safari suit, black cap, and sunglasses, Prabowo arrived at the State Palace on Friday, August 2, at 3:00 PM WIB. He took a moment to greet the media before explaining that his purpose for the visit was to report on his meetings in Paris, Serbia, Turkey, and Russia. During his visit from July 24 to 31, 2024, Prabowo held discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He shared, “Yes, Russia, Turkey, Serbia, and Albania. Yes, I’m just reporting,” summarizing his key meetings and discussions during the trip.
