Prabowo Subianto’s Declaration at Labor Party Anniversary: “My Struggle is for Economic Equality, Not Capitalism”

Prabowo Subianto, the President-elect and Chairman of the Gerindra Party, congratulated the Labor Party on its third anniversary through a video message. He expressed his apologies for not being able to attend the celebration in person due to a prior commitment. Prabowo emphasized his long-standing fight for the rights and welfare of laborers, farmers, fishermen, and all Indonesian citizens, especially those who have not fully benefited from prosperity. He highlighted his advocacy for economic justice through his involvement in various organizations supporting farmers. Prabowo stressed his commitment to an economic system based on Pancasila and family values, in contrast to capitalist or neoliberal ideologies that may contradict Indonesia’s foundational principles. He called for national unity in building a progressive and developed nation, emphasizing the importance of managing the country’s resources effectively and combating corruption.
