Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo

President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025 has sparked optimism and high hopes among members of the Indonesian diaspora, especially students. Maulidya Nur Islami, representing the Indonesian community in Turkey, expressed pride and happiness, seeing the visit as a positive step for both countries. Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif also appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement during the visit, hoping for stronger future cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki expressed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, hoping that Prabowo’s visit will continue to inspire them to make Indonesia proud. The Indonesian diaspora in Egypt welcomed Prabowo’s visit, expressing confidence in its potential positive impact on education development for Indonesian students in Egypt. Overall, members of the diaspora in these countries offered prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been on official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
