Prabowo’s MBG Program Reaches Six Million Beneficiaries

The President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, revealed that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has gained global attention and is now a topic of discussion in international diplomatic circles. During the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress in Solo, Central Java, Prabowo highlighted the success of the program, which provides free nutritious meals to schoolchildren, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. He mentioned that the program has already benefited over six million individuals, mostly children and pregnant women, since its launch. Prabowo expressed his optimism that the number of beneficiaries will continue to grow rapidly, with a target of reaching 20 million beneficiaries by August 2025. The MBG program is not only a crucial effort to combat malnutrition and promote a healthy future generation but also a boost for local food producers and vendors. It aims to support social equity and early human development, contributing to the long-term development of the nation.
