In an exclusive interview with tvOne titled “Prabowo Subianto Speaks for Indonesia,” Prabowo discussed how this program will be realized.
Prabowo mentioned that the budget for the nutritious meal program for students has been calculated, and he is confident about its realization. He emphasized the importance of the scheme and system to ensure accurate delivery of meals to children, rather than focusing on the organizational structure.
Efforts will be made to prevent any leaks in the implementation of the program during Prabowo’s administration. The distribution of free milk will be tailored to the specific needs of each region. For example, in regions like Southwest Maluku, where buffalo milk is readily available, children in that area will have access to buffalo milk.
In regions where obtaining milk sources is challenging, the focus will be shifted to the equitable distribution of other nutritious foods like fish and eggs. Prabowo stressed the importance of flexibility in adapting the program to suit the different typologies and conditions of each region in Indonesia, whether they are mountainous, coastal, or island areas.
Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that all children in Indonesia have access to nutritious food, and Prabowo is committed to achieving this goal through efficient and flexible distribution strategies.
