of Pak Ton.’ I replied, ‘So what?’ I continued to support that company despite the reprimand. From that experience, I learned to be consistent, follow my conscience, and always stand up for what is right. Pak Ton was eventually vindicated and released from prison. He continued his career in the TNI until he retired with the rank of Lieutenant General. Pak Ton passed away peacefully in his sleep. He left behind a legacy of bravery, honesty, and dedication to the nation. I will always remember him as a true leader, a mentor, and a friend.
