President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, was seen having dinner with the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), at Bakmi Jowo Bu Citro 1 in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday, July 21, 2025. The two presidents sat together at the same table, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigation (BAPPISUS), Aris Marsudiyanto. During the private dinner that lasted about an hour, Prabowo and Jokowi enjoyed bowls of noodle soup while engaging in a brief one-on-one conversation before the meal.
At another table, various ministers from the Red-and-White Cabinet were present, including Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya, Foreign Minister Sugiono, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, and Deputy Minister of Culture Giring Ganesha.
One of the notable figures present was Aris Marsudiyanto, who garnered attention for sitting with Prabowo, Jokowi, and Gibran. Aris, known as a loyal supporter of Prabowo, served as the Head of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Gerindra Party for the West Java region. Having a longstanding connection with Prabowo since their time in the Military Academy, Aris retired in 2006 as a Lieutenant Colonel (Letkol) and currently holds the position of CEO in one of Prabowo’s companies. Throughout various elections, Aris has actively supported Prabowo, particularly in West Java, playing a significant role in campaigns during the 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024 elections.
