TNI Membuka Pusat Pengaduan Netralitas Pemilu 2024 untuk Masyarakat
FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA–TNI officially opened a complaint center for the public to report any TNI personnel found to be not impartial during the 2024 Election stages from September 2023 to 2024.
TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono announced that the complaint center is available in all TNI units and offices throughout Indonesia. In addition, the public can also submit complaints through various TNI channels on social media.
“With the spirit of TNI’s neutrality commitment today, Monday, November 20, 2023 at 12.45 WIB, the TNI’s 2024 Election neutrality complaint center is officially declared to be in effect,” said the TNI Commander during the launch of the complaint center at the TNI Headquarters in Cilangkap, Jakarta, on Monday.
Admiral Yudo explained that TNI’s neutrality in elections is clearly regulated by laws such as MPR Decree Number VII of 2000 regarding the Role of TNI and Polri and Law Number 34 of 2004 regarding the Indonesian National Army (UU TNI).
He explained that complaints received by the Neutrality Complaint Center will be handed over to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) within 1×24 hours after the report is received. Bawaslu will then determine whether the complaint constitutes an election violation.
If Bawaslu determines that the complaint is a serious election violation, the TNI Military Police (POM) will make a report and issue a receipt. This report will be followed up with summonses for both the complainant and the TNI personnel accused by the public.
